Answers for homeowners, cleaning providers, business partners, learners and platform administrators.

For Homeowners

What is Trust Clean UK?

Trust Clean UK is a UK cleaning marketplace that helps clients discover and contact independent cleaning providers. The platform does not directly provide cleaning services.

Does Trust Clean UK employ the cleaners?

No. Cleaning providers are independent businesses or self-employed professionals. Trust Clean UK provides the platform, discovery tools and trust framework.

How do I find a cleaner near me?

Use the Find Cleaners search with your city or postcode, choose a service type and compare matching cleaning providers.

Can I request quotes from multiple cleaners?

Yes. The quote flow is designed to capture your cleaning need and notify relevant providers as the matching engine is completed.

Do I need an account to request a quote?

The platform can create a homeowner account so your quote requests, saved providers and future messages can be managed securely.

Are cleaners DBS checked?

Provider profiles can show evidence status, including DBS evidence where applicable and insurance evidence, only when those details have been reviewed or marked by the admin team.

Can I choose domestic or commercial cleaning?

Yes. Services are structured around domestic, end of tenancy, commercial, office, deep cleaning, carpet cleaning and other cleaning categories.

Can I leave a review?

Reviews are part of the trust system. Homeowner review flows help future clients compare providers and help good providers build visibility.

Will my details be shared publicly?

No. Personal contact details are used for account and quote handling. Public display is controlled by the platform templates and privacy settings.

What should I include in a quote request?

Include the service needed, city or postcode, property type, preferred date, approximate size and any special requirements.

For Cleaning Providers

Who can join as a cleaning provider?

Self-employed cleaners, limited companies and professional cleaning businesses can register as providers.

Do I need insurance to join?

Insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for verified or founding member status. Public liability insurance improves trust and profile quality.

What are provider membership tiers?

Provider tiers control profile visibility, lead access, coverage area, ranking advantages and access to growth tools.

Can I join for free?

A free or starter access level can allow profile setup, but leads, messages, reviews, training and premium tools may be locked until a membership is chosen.

How does search ranking work?

Ranking can consider service match, location match, membership tier, founding status, reviews, profile completeness, badges, response speed and recent activity.

Can I choose the areas I cover?

Yes. Provider coverage is designed around city, postcode and radius settings. Higher tiers may allow wider coverage.

What is a Trust Badge?

The Trust Badge is an embeddable badge that providers can place on their website to show their Trust Clean UK profile and create a backlink to their public profile.

Can I upload photos and portfolio images?

Profile media and gallery features are part of the provider profile roadmap and can help improve conversion and trust.

Can I respond to quote requests?

Quote response workflows are part of the provider dashboard. Access may depend on your membership level.

What is a founding member?

A founding member is a verified cleaning company invited or approved during city launch. Requirements include insurance, active business status, strong Google reviews and platform customer reviews.

For Business Partners

Who are business partners?

Partners are suppliers and service businesses that support the cleaning sector, such as equipment suppliers, insurance providers, software companies, training providers and vehicle suppliers.

Can partners register online?

Yes. Partner registration captures the business category, plan choice and profile details before moving the partner into the partner dashboard.

Why do partner plan prices need to match everywhere?

Partner plan pricing should be controlled from the admin plan settings so the public plan page, registration flow and Stripe checkout remain consistent.

Can partners add products?

The partner product/shop feature is planned as a growth module. It will allow higher-tier partners to add, edit and manage products once the shop workflow is activated.

Can partners receive orders?

Orders are planned for the partner shop module. Until the full commerce workflow is tested, product and order features may show as Coming Soon.

Will partners get analytics?

Partner dashboards are designed to show views, enquiries, product interest and campaign performance once tracking is connected.

Can partners have a public profile?

Yes. Partners should have public profiles so cleaning providers and clients can discover trusted suppliers and services.

Can partners use a Trust Badge?

Yes. Partner Trust Badges are designed for embedding on their own websites and linking back to their public Trust Clean UK profile.

What partner tiers are planned?

The current partner structure includes Free Partner, Premium Partner and Growth Partner, with stronger visibility and analytics at higher tiers.

Can partners be featured?

Featured visibility can be offered to premium or growth partners depending on the membership rules set in the admin system.

Training Centre

What is the Training Centre?

The Training Centre is the learning area for cleaning providers, learners and platform users. It supports courses, resources, assessments and certificates.

Who can take courses?

Cleaning providers, learners, partners and internal team members can use courses depending on how the course is published and priced.

Will certificates be available?

Certificate generation is part of the course completion workflow. Certificates can include the student name, course title, completion date and certificate ID.

Can course admins reply to reviews?

Instructor/admin replies to student reviews are planned so responses can appear under student reviews on the course page.

Are some courses included with memberships?

Yes. Premium membership tiers can include access to selected courses as part of the growth value for providers.

Can I download course resources?

Resource downloads are part of the course player module and should be tested for each published course before launch.

What happens when a course is completed?

The platform is designed to trigger completion emails, certificate generation and related course recommendations.

Can course content be edited by admins?

Yes. Course content is managed through the course builder/admin systems and WordPress course post types.

Can learners have a dashboard?

Yes. Learners have a dashboard for courses, progress, certificates, wishlist and recommendations.

Will training improve provider ranking?

Training badges and completion data can become trust signals that improve provider profile quality and future ranking logic.

Accounts, Payments and Launch

Why do users need branded login instead of WordPress login?

Homeowners, providers, partners and learners should use the branded frontend login so they do not see WordPress admin screens.

Where are Stripe settings managed?

Stripe keys, webhook secrets and plan IDs are managed from the Trust Clean payments and plan settings in the admin dashboard.

What happens after a provider registers?

A provider can enter the dashboard to complete their profile, but premium areas should remain locked until the correct membership is active.

What happens after a partner registers?

A partner can access their partner dashboard to complete profile basics and choose a plan. Product, analytics and messaging areas can be locked until membership is active.

Can admins control what staff can access?

Yes. Staff admin roles and access control are part of the admin access layer so the Master Admin can decide which menus each staff member can see.

Why are some menus marked Coming Soon?

Menus are marked Coming Soon when the route is reserved but the full operational feature still needs secure storage, testing, notifications or payment integration.

How are emails sent?

Emails can be sent through WP Mail SMTP and Brevo. Domain authentication, DKIM and sender verification should be completed to improve deliverability.

Can release campaigns be sent to users?

Release campaigns are designed to draft and send platform update emails by audience. Recipient selection and deselection are part of the admin control roadmap.

How are quote requests stored?

Quote requests should be stored as platform data, connected to homeowner accounts and surfaced in admin quote management and provider lead notifications.

What must be tested before launch?

Test registration, login, dashboards, quote flow, Stripe checkout, webhooks, email delivery, public profiles, search routes, service pages, city pages, contact form and admin notes.
